Censorship, Message Boards, Guestbooks, and Spelling.

Since this site started as Chuck’s Anything and Everything Site back in 1999. I have always removed or edited abusive content. At the bottom of every page on this site is an “ICRA” button. Also, this site contains a meta stamp that rates this site on parental controls as an acceptable for all ages website with no chat room. This explains why many posts were removed. More details about the rating system can be found by clicking on one of these buttons. The guestbook has been removed from the Mayor section of my website. The guestbook on the personal site has the data file set as read only. Any posts will be e-mailed to me but will not publicly appear. These measures will be in effect until I return to Saint John from Toronto on May 18th. The entire mayor site has been spell checked. The rest of this site will also be reviewed again as it was last December.

This has been a week to remember!

This week was just filled with activity, and next week does not look like it will get any slower. After announcing that I will be running for mayor the hit counter for this site spike to over 200 hits on Friday. This week coming up I’ve got work Tue, Wed, and Thu. Tomorrow and Wednesday I have Elsie Wayne Day Meetings. To finish off the week on Friday I will be bringing in my nomination papers at 11:30 am to the Municipal Returning Officer. Then later that day I will be at the Elsie Wayne Retirement Gala.

Merry Holiday Day!

Santa Claus Parade – 2003

Santa Claus Parade – 2003

In November 2003 I had created the following graphics for the Saint John Santa Claus Parade. Due to their success, they were also used with an adapted logo for the Fredericton version of the Parade. Unfortunately, the Fredericton version of the logo has been lost. It looked just like the Saint John version. The two reindeer were named Fred and Larry, There was a 3rd one Phil but the third one was never used on-air.

Where have I been?

I have left all my blogger fans in the dark for 26 days now and it is now time to update you on what has gone on. 1st- After months of complaining on October 21st I received the call that I had been offered a job at Client Logic, and for the past 3.5 weeks I have worked there and loving it. 2nd- I’ve been working on the Intro for the Saint John Santa Claus Parade, which turned out to be an immense success. I am working on adding a section to my site to show off some of my Photo Shop stuff. It will be flash intensive and will be launched in early 2004. Other plans for this site is to bring back the calendar, and finally get a domain name. 3rd-I’ve been sick all the first half of November. 4th- I’m sorry I have not added anything to my novel, I will add some more this year. I’ll blog again soon

Little biters

Shew mutt!!! This morning I was bitten but a little black dog, that lives up the street. This dog truly was an ankle bitter as he bit me in the ankle. Today I paid off my New Brunswick Student Loan that is a $2662 of debt I no longer have to worry about.

What’s UP!!!

Hello all, I’ve just had dinner at my mothers, and am ready to take on this new week. I am determined that by the end of this week I will finally have a job. And as asked for I will have an update on my novel by the end of the week. I’ve had several requests about what happens to Roger and as soon as I figure it out I will add about 1000 new words to my novel. Have a great week!

Wow, what a week!!!

Not much is different from the past several weeks except, I have received 2 calls in the past two days, from places I dropped off resumes at, none of which were from my top 5 list but at least I received a call. Next up is I have looked into getting my driver’s license, I was impressed with the very good information I got from Young Drivers I think I will go with them as soon as I can conjure up $549. Onto the third topic, I’m excited about the new TV season, after about three years there is good TV. So after seeing the shows here is my TV Top Ten List: 10. Too Close to Call (Rogers Television) I just had to add one that I help make. And Dave Deline is very Interesting. 9. Trading Spaces (TLC) It kinda makes you want to get off the couch and do some decorating… Kind of 8. Malcom on the Middle (Global) This is a truly funny show. 7. Trailer Park Boys (Showcase) I just love stupid Canadian Shows. 6. 8 Simple Rules for Dating my Teenage Daughter (ABC) This is just a classic great show. 5. Everybody Loves Raymond…

What’s up!!!

While this week has been remarkably interesting. I’ve left Saint John twice this past week. On Tuesday, I went to Fredericton and on Wednesday I went to Moncton, both days to help shoot promos for the upcoming season on Rogers Television. I’ve also had two rolls of film developed recently, some of the pictures have turned out well. I’ve also got a set of digital pictures as well. I’ll be formatting them and posting them as 3 new photo albums on my website. I’m going to use html format and not the flash because I found a program that makes them automatically and is a lot easier. I’ve also was doing TV Bingo this past week; it is great to have it back. Especially since Jeff and Tony are the best. This week I’m going to continue some job hunting on Monday and Tuesday. And on Monday at 11:15 I have an appointment to have photos taken at the Sears Portrait Studio. TTFN

New Blogger Features!!!

I’ve played with some of the new features, and they truly improve the blogging experience. The main one is the spellcheck feature. I’ve fixed all the spelling in my blog back to mid July. It would take too long to fix the blog back to December of 2002 when I started blogging. Another feature I like is the post title. It gives it the ease of deciding what post you want to see.

RTV Money Trends

RTV Money Trends

During the summer before the 2004-2005 season, there was a proposal for a Financial Show on Rogers Television from Saint John. The working title was “Money Trends” although the show never was made past a pilot episode here are the graphics I was in the progress of designing for this show. The images above may not be reproduced on any site other than cefm.ca.
